About Me:

Hello universe,

I’m Julia, but I prefer Jules. This is where I lay it all down, where I put my heart on my sleeve, where I allow myself to be 100 percent vulnerable and authentic. Writing isn’t something that I hide behind, but what allows me to embrace all that I am and what I have without any shame and only risk. Writing is my true reason for living.

Besides writing, (which is so much of my life) I love eating, watching movies, anything art related like painting or drawing, making homemade gifts, going to concerts, slowly collecting vinyl, and re-watching Scott Pilgrim vs. The World or Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Oh, and I’m in love with my best friend.

  1. Breakfast at Tiffany’s is my all time favorite movie. My favorite scene is when Holly talks about the mean reds. I’ve known that feeling so many times in my life.

    1. My favorite part is the very ending when they’re in the cab and Fred tells Holly that he’s in love with her, but she tells him that she “won’t ever let anyone put her in a cage.” But in the end she realizes that she actually is in love with him and can’t deny that. Oh, and when she finds cat at the very end. 🙂

      3. That was awesome. The fact that she loved it. I am a big fan of Audrey Hepburn’s movies. Funny face is my second favorite then Roman Holiday

      4. I love Audrey Hepburn. I always have since I was really young. I also adore Roman Holiday! The ending is so bittersweet, though.

      5. Yeah it was bittersweet. Gregory Peck was a good actor. He was good in To Kill a Mockingbird

      6. Indeed he was. He was a great actor for sure! I could go on and on about movies and music. Pop culture is my forte.
